The Biggest Decision Of 2009

I told my Mom that it was the hardest decision I have made in a long time; after she got done laughing I told her the new decision in my hand. For several weeks I went back and forth about whether or not to upgrade to the BlackBerry Tour or go for an even bigger leap and snatch an iPhone.

iPhone's seem so sleek, cool and they can do almost anything. The applications alone seem amazing and the versatility of the product is very impressive. The BlackBerry Tour is a significant upgrade from what I had before, the BlackBerry Pearl. The Tour is bigger, sexier but has many of the same features as my old phone just faster and newer.

I didn't know what my decision was going to be until right when I left work. Initially I thought I had made a go for the iPhone but alas I went with what I knew, liked and felt comfortable with. So for all those who gave me advice and guidance I would like to say thank you. I really did want the iPhone but that's just not what I need right now. I honestly don't think I am cool enough or a big enough dork to own one.

Instead, I'll be pounding the touchable keys of my BlackBerry Tour and savoring in the fact I receive e-mails instantly.

Maybe one day I'll get an iPhone....one day.
